Enviromark is pleased to feature the new Greyline Transit Time Flow Meter, model 1.0, and the Pump Station Level Controller (PSL), model 5.0

Greyline has been offering Transit Time meters, both stationary and portable, for about 10 years.  Greyline has been developing a new stationary Transit Time Meter for more than four years, and the product was released this summer.  Prior to the formal release Enviromark had installed over 75 of the meters with excellent results.

The new stationary TTFM 1.0 offers several advantages to potential users:
  • Sensors are installed on the outside of solid pipes (metal, plastic, etc) which are full of mostly clear fluids without the sensors coming in contact with the fluids.
  • It is not necessary to stop the process to complete the installation.
  • Pipes with liners can be monitored.
  • Both positive and negative flows can be measured, or negative flows can be ignored
  • The B sensor set can be used on ½ to 48 inch pipes
  • Accuracy is +/- 1% of flow rate, repeatability and linearity  are +/- 0.25%
  • Flow velocity range is +/- 0.07 to 39 fps
  • Output is selectable 4 to 20mA or 0 – 5V
  • The optional 20 million point datalogger downloads automatically to a flashdrive.
  • The TTFM 1.0 has CSA approval for installation in Class 1 Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D without Intrinsic Safety Barriers.

Key attributes of the new PSL 5.0 are

  • The instrument can accept input from an auxiliary device (such as a pressure sensor) and will seamlessly switch to that device if the ultrasonic signal is lost and then back again when the problem is cleared.
  • The PSL will continually recalibrate the auxiliary sensor during normal operation.
  • The PSL can be equipped with the Greyline 20 million point data logger which comes with the logger software.
  • The menu is easy to navigate from the 5 key keypad.
