is pleased to represent the Greyline DFM 4.0
The Greyline PDFM-4.0 is a recently updated non-contact flow monitoring device that monitors flow and velocity of liquids moving through closed pipes. Pipe diameters can range from 0.5 to 180 inches.
Doppler flow monitoring works by bouncing an ultrasonic signal off of either bubbles or particulate in the fluid being monitored. The PDFM-4.0 is a significant improvement in the capability of this technology because it can provide flow readings if there is a bubble or particulate within a 10 second span.
Typical accuracy achieved is better than 2%. The new PDFM-4.0 incorporates software to disregard extraneous signals, which might have effected older equipment.
The PDFM is equipped with a Data Logger which stores over 32,000 flow records which can be downloaded to Greyline Logger software (which is free with the instrument) and then either manipulated with the program to give flow rates and graphs or exported to another spreadsheet program for data manipulation.
For permanent installations the DFM-4.0 is available.
See Greyline in the Product Selection Guide for details or to download literature and manuals.
