The Greyline Portable Transit Time meter product line has been refreshed and renewed. Five previous models have been consolidated into 2 models covering the full normal range of pipe sizes.
The PT500 model replaces the Portaflo SE and the 300 model greatly expanding the pipe ranges that can be handled by a single transducer. The PT500 covers from 0.5 inch to 78 inch outside diameter pipes with 2 transducer heads. The data logger memory capacity remains the same at 98,000 data points, and the guide rail has been totally redesigned.
The PT500 can also be ordered with either the A or the B transducers.
The PT400 can be ordered with either the A or the B transducers and does not have a data logger. Otherwise it has the same features as the PT500.
For permanent installations the Ultraflo is available.
See Greyline in the Product Selection Guide for details or to download literature and manuals.
- The totalizer works even if the DFM 5.0 is calibrated in velocity mode
- Data logging units are independent of calibration units
- Changing measurement units in the DFM 5.0 does not require a restart of the data logger
- Twenty-four hour flow reports are created independent of regular logging
- The DFM 5.0 will provide a flow reading as long as there is 1 bubble or
particle every ten seconds; if the concentration falls below that level,
the instrument reads zero
- The firmware has been configured to disregard non-flow related inputs (such as pipe vibration)
- A new sensor configuration has been created to enhance the ability of the instrument to read flow in difficult applications
